What an FAQ chatbot costs
Chatbot pricing ranges from free widgets to enterprise contracts. For a small business the useful question is narrower: what does a grounded, honest FAQ assistant cost per month.
What drives the cost
- Conversations. Each one runs a language model, which the provider pays for per token.
- Everything else, storage, the page itself, email, is cheap by comparison.
Common pricing models
- Per seat: priced for support teams, not for a business with one inbox.
- Per resolution: cheap until it works, then surprisingly expensive.
- Per conversation volume: a flat monthly fee covering a set number of chats. The predictable option.
What to expect to pay
- Tens of euros per month covers hundreds of conversations, which is realistic small-business volume.
- Watch for overage billing. A hard cap costs you availability at the margin; overage billing costs you money you did not plan.
FAQ Plus prices on volume with hard caps: a 14-day free trial, €19 per month for 250 conversations, €49 for 1,000, and never an overage charge. Full details on the pricing page.
